Ripple (Rough Draft)
I’ve uploaded yet another redesign of my blog. The previous version of the blog was brighter, but I thought that it didn’t really reflect my personality accurately enough, so I made a few tweaks to the coloring. I actually wasn’t going to upload the design yet; I wanted to finish making a portfolio page first, but earlier today I realized that my search form on the sidebar (on the previous version) was very badly broken, so I had to fix it as soon as I could. It is now fixed.
A Rough Ripple
Ripple’s rough draft is now done. In fact, I finished last Wednesday, but things have been so hectic I haven’t been able to post anything since then. The draft is 92,361 words and I’ve saved a copy of it so I don’t lose it. “What do you mean lose it?” you ask? Continue reading Ripple [Rough Draft] is Done »

School. Pleh.
School is in full effect. My post was on the Thirtieth of August, and because of this almost-two-month period of inactivity a great number of readers have probably lost interest in me. Still, I shall continue to write, and maybe regain some of that lost faith.
The last time this blog has been left fallow (quite depressingly, only two posts ago — sorry readers
I’ll try to post more!) the reason was because of the art website deviantART. As great as a website it is, and as wonderful a time waster it is, I can’t blame deviantART for neglecting Demonic Angelicism this time. Instead, I was distracted by a much more evil organization — school. This year is my last year of High School, and I have to say I have started it off with a very bad start.

The very first part of Ripple.
Most of you who visit this blog should, by now, know that I’m writing a story. But for those who don’t, I’m writing this post. (Also, its good to start with an introductory post, so I don’t just jump out and say something random about a project new visitors might not know anything about — and have no way of looking up.)
Ripple is the current (working, but hopefully will be the permanent) name for a project I’ve been working on for a year — and probably will continue working on for longer than that. It’s the story of how a teenage boy must make a life-or-death decision and the consequences that come of it. Along the way, he meets up with all sorts of forces, from CLIMA, his clandestine employer (I completely forgot where the name came from. It was an acronym at some point), to Ashley, a ditzy precognitive teenage girl whose only weakness is her inability to predict his future. (I know, cliché, right? I had to make her fallible somehow without severely weakening her ability…) Continue reading Ripple »

WordPress!
A year and four months ago, I started this blog as a way to express myself online. Since then, many things have happened in my life, and this blog was my way of sharing these accomplishments, discoveries, and occurrences with the world. Since then, this blog has changed names three times, changed function four times, and changed themes five times. Unfortunately, this history, a entire year of my life, has been lost. Today, I am starting anew.
In this past year I had taken up web design, and created quite a few websites. Then I looked at this blog and thought, “Why don’t I design my own blog?” I started out earlier this year, but realized that it was too great a project for the three week deadline I had set for it. I pushed back the deadline to July 1st, today. And here is my design. It isn’t complete, and will be improved upon in the next couple of weeks (actually, I plan to improve upon it as I use it and notice features I’m used to seeing missing). I hope you like it.
Of course, if anyone has any comments or recommendations, please don’t hesitate to speak up.
